Description:

This course aims to provide students with exposure to, and practical experience with, all major aspects of digital library development. This is done through four assignments that require study of existing digital libraries, reading and discussion of fundamental issues in constructing digital libraries, and hands-on participation in the creation of a substantial digital library as a member of several teams responsible for critical components during the planning, development, and implementation phases of the project.
